About Mariana Barran
Named 2018 Best Southern Tastemaker by Southern Living and Winner of the 8th Annual Made in the South Awards, Needlework Designer Mariana Barran Goodall's work combines a modern aesthetic with traditional textile and needlework techniques. The artist, a Mexican designer, is passionate about preserving old world stitching methods. This allows her to work through heritage textiles to reveal new insights in a very simple matter. She believes in the warmth and universal language that comes from a piece of art made completely by hand.
At Hibiscus Linens, we create truly artisan linens derived from centuries-old techniques and craftsmanship. Our fine linens are handmade with classic shapes in a wide range of fabrics for all styles and uses in the modern home.
Each design, thread, and fabric is carefully selected to create pieces worthy of heirlooms for you and your family or friends.
With a quality that can only be accomplished by hand, we are bringing back the traditional techniques that make pieces invaluable, timeless, and truly unique.
We put our name only on the finest of home linens. Our skilled craftsmen produce by hand the most exquisite pieces using techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation.
Every linen is made by hand, stitch by stitch. Our process does not include the use of sewing or embroidery machines. From concept, to sketch, to fabric, to the final piece held in your hands—the quality of Hibiscus Linens are rare finds anywhere else in America.
Establish a new family heirloom or provide a timeless gift to a special person in your life with Hibiscus Linens.
Growing up there were always guests in my house—it seemed like "Throwing Parties" was my parents middle name. At each gathering, hibiscus tea was always present. Serving this special tea was something different that made everyone that came into our home feel warm and welcome.
Hibiscus Linens is as special as the glass of hibiscus tea we gave to our guests. Every piece of our linens is made by hand and combined with delicate traditional techniques to create beautiful linens for your home and your own guests.
Embroidery, crochet lace, and delicate hemstitching are the main techniques we routinely use for our collections. This combination defines the exquisite linens made by our passionate and committed crafters.
The techniques we use are almost nonexistent on today’s market due to the efforts and time it takes to produce each. All of our products are made in small batches to ensure the quality and the unique style of each. We pride ourselves on the craft of our linens which provide a perfect balance between detailed elegance and modern daily accents.
Hibiscus Linens born for the passion of entertaining and gatherings with a finely made table setting. Our linens are vintage inspired new pieces for your home, not your grandmother's old linens—though she would be proud of their quality.
We hope our pieces will bring joy to your home for the years to come!
